چکیده

Supplementary Figure 1. (a) The O(1s) region of PET measured at 60° from the surface normal to emphasize surface features. Two peaks (1 and 2) are observed, corresponding to the oxygen atoms of the ether and carbonyl moieties of the ester group, respectively; (b) the same region measured at 60° following synthesis of the ZrO2 interface, showing diminution of one of these peaks (peak 1; BE = 533.0 eV) and the appearance of a new peak (peak 3; BE = 529.61 eV) assigned to oxygen bonded to Zr. The peak at BE 531.4 eV (peak 2) remains constant; the black line in both sets of spectra is the smoothed data trace. !

Manufacturing a Biomimetic Biorecator in Cardiac Tissue Engineering

Introduction: The direct approach of cardiac tissue engineering is to mimic the natural tissue of heart, considering the significant role of scaffolding and mechanical simulation.  Methods: To achieve this purpose, a composite Polycaprolactone (PCL)/Gelatin electrospun scaffold with a ratio of 70:30 and with the most similarities to the cardiac extracellular matrix was fabricated with aligned ...

Using self-assembled monolayers to model the extracellular matrix.

The extracellular matrix is an insoluble aggregate of large proteins and glycosoaminoglycans that comprises the microenvironment of cells in tissue. The matrix displays a host of ligands that interact with cell-surface receptors to mediate the attachment and spreading of cells and regulate signaling processes. Studies of cell-matrix interactions and downstream signaling processes commonly emplo...

مطالعه هیستوشیمی و لکتین هیستوشیمی صلبیه و مشیمیه در طی روند تکامل چشم

Background and purpose: Sclera and choroid as external and middle tunic of the eye, originate from the mesenchyme surrounding the optic cup. Neural crest cells have major contribution in mesenchyme development. Main part of transmitter signals in eyes development are extracellular matrix components and cell surface glycoconjugates. The purpose of this study was to recognize extracellular m...

Chitin Nanofiber Micropatterned Flexible Substrates for Tissue Engineering†

Engineered tissues require enhanced organization of cells and extracellular matrix (ECM) for proper function. To promote cell organization, substrates with controlled micro- and nanopatterns have been developed as supports for cell growth, and to induce cellular elongation and orientation via contact guidance. Micropatterned ultra-thin biodegradable substrates are desirable for implantation in ...
